• Mood entries and intensity ratings
• Journal entries and reflections
• Tags you select

This data is stored locally on your device and is never sent to external servers.

Data we read but do not store:

• Apple Health data (steps, sleep duration, resting heart rate) — read locally to generate insights, never transmitted or stored externally
• Location — used only to fetch local weather data for pattern analysis, never stored or shared

Third party services MindSteps uses a weather API to fetch local weather based on your location. No personally identifiable information is shared with this service.

Data retention All app data is stored on your device. Deleting the app removes all associated data.

Children's privacy MindSteps is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from them.

Changes to this policy We may update this policy occasionally. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
